The Daily Practice
The daily practice at the heart of HOT Leadership isn't three steps to remember. It's one question, asked at two key moments: first thing in the morning, and right before anything that matters. Am I leading hot or cold right now? Asked enough times, it becomes your default, not just your best intention.
Not a theory
Going cold is human. Nobody wakes up wanting to run a cold room. The pressure of a deadline, a hard message, a bad night's sleep. All of it pulls leaders cold without them choosing it. The practice isn't about never going cold. It's about noticing faster, and choosing to warm the room back up before it costs you the people in it.
Try It
Click each step to see what it actually sounds like in your head, in the moment.
Set the tone. Am I hot or cold right now? How do I want to show up today? Thirty seconds, before Slack, before email. Sets the temperature for the whole day.
Reset before it matters. Before any high-stakes moment, a meeting, a hard conversation, a big decision. Am I hot or cold right now? If cold, pause. Reset. Choose. Then go in.
Going cold is human.
Noticing it is the win.
Why It Sticks
Most leadership ideas fade after the workshop. This one is built to survive contact with a bad day.
What Leaders Say
Bring the practice to your team through a workshop or keynote with Reena, or start by finding your own temperature.
